Welcome, to my Art Gallery.

The Gallery section of the Checkmate Website is for little bits and pieces of the process on how the mod is made, and some unused content lying within its caved in walls; hidden by Americas cover up stories as always.

This image description for it is that after the release of v1, a few days later, ColinVisor decided to watch a bit more of Monument Mythos (since at the time they watched Seasons 1, 2, and Nixonverse) Afterwards of knowledge of the rest of the Seasons, they drew this piece, stating "If there ever was a version 2 of the mod, this is what would probably be in it." At first, she didn't due to what both Seasons meant to the creator for personal reasons, but after consideration and advice from a friend (Battlecatsdude), V2 is here.

(Unused characters: Last Son Of Alcatraz, Horned Serpent,Richard Nixon Diagram

Video is a showcase (early version of the song Freedom Forever Mix based on the episode of the same name, testing out early version of events during the ending segment with president JFK giving a speach with the drawing of Perfection Union looking at the Mars Serpent in the sky.

Video is a small preview showcased to a friend of the Everett sprites for the song, Synthony. Original idea for the song was gonna be presented like Wonderland, but with scattered trees and the Rockefeller Plaza in the background with the ghost of Virgginia next to Everett. Sprites for the showcase are now in the song Freedom Forever Mix and everything got replaced

Old Synthony Stage, and Sprites (not up to scale / mockup of what it looked like)

Video showcasing sprites from Little Lanky's Song by Paperclips using the song Mouthsplan by Alien from the 17Bucks Leaked Build

Video showcases early version of the Crescent King sprites before their colors were inverted to be white. Reason behind it being black in the first place because of 1 or 2 reasons. 1 - Background possibly would've been different (most likely not). Or 2 - Canvas background was white and ColinVisor was lazy (most likely)

Images above are art evolutions of the song Freedom including a wireframe of the sprite placement, another concept before (or after) the wireframe that showcases pose concept and where they should be facing. And finally, the V1 final concept of what it should look like ingame before the initual release and finally v2's sprites

Earliest version of the teased banner of Checkmate V2, sent to the friend Battlecatsdude. (Was never used for the actual announcement. (Also featuring the full logo in detail)

Early concept of the song Twisty Twizzlers. Original idea was based off the 17bucks song, Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum and was thought up whenever Colin and Siren were discussing about the mod back when it was still in v1

Drawing done by Derpanddraw on Twitter (added them here because they're kinda funny and cool)

Videos above are the process of making the Cthonaut C sprites for the song, C. "First they have to be drawn just like how they are in the episode. Then, I have to take still photos of them in a dark room (first video) and make sure all of them are on top of one another almost perfectly to give the idea of a moving picture (video 2). Then, I have to erase the extra bits of paper still I get just the sprite and copy images to an sprite coverter and make the json file from there." - ColinVisor

Video is a scrapped version of the Monument Monster song which was originally dubbed "Monster." version got scrapped because it was all over the place and musician didn't like it because they had music block and felt like they had to make something.. Song was originally going to be a dead air type
