Franklin Delano Roosevelt (January 30, 1882 – April 12, 1945), commonly known as FDR, was an American statesman and politician who served as the 32nd president of the United States from 1933 until his death in 1945. He is featured in the MISTER MANTICORE series Homith Twin Study.

Early Life and Presidency

Little is known of FDR in the alternate history of Homith Twin Study, or within the Monument Mythos. Presumably much of Roosevelt's life was similar to real-life. In 1921 Roosevelt visited his family's vacation home in Campobello. While there, he faced the onset of an illness that is commonly believed to be Polio. Over time the disease left him paralyzed from the waist down. Roosevelt tried to hide this throughout his life, devising strategies to appear to be able to stand unaided and avoid using his wheelchair at any cost. In 1933, Roosevelt was elected President of the United States.

Fontane Serum

Multiple photos of Roosevelt exist depicting him standing unaided. This includes a photo of him standing next to a large tube of a medical serum known as 'Fontane Serum.' He presumably On April 11, 1945, a day before Roosevelt died in real-life, he is photographed running towards the camera. On the morning of April 12, 1945, Roosevelt was photographed in Warm Springs, Georgia, at a pool.
