Walt Disney would project a Mickey Mouse cartoon to a House off the coast in South America, and it would project back a warped version of the cartoon, called Little Lanky. The Little Lanky cartoon is utilized by the Crescent King to rewire brains and input false memories of him inside of their heads, as well as for what remains of the Last Son to communicate his suffering. In the cartoon, Lanky is seen following a sign marked as "friends", attempting to find a companion. He meets several entities that cut off or break his limbs, or run him over using a train. He would eventually fall into a cave, where several spiky fish lead him to another "friends" sign, and when he follows it, he is lead into a room where The Crescent King sits. This is a parallel to The Last Son, and his use and abuse of his power through various groups, represented by Little Lanky's maiming. He would enter a cave with a face and teeth on it, representing The Last Son becoming the House, and would be seen being surrounded by fish, representing the ocean surrounding the House. Lanky approaching The Crescent King represents the fate that befell of The Last Son, and how he was forced to become said being, as it sat inside of the cave. In a second version of Little Lanky, we see Lanky converse with the King, and the King teleports his body and matches his crescent with the shape of the cosmological body in Little Lanky's sky, making the king become Little Lanky. This is an actual display of the conversion. The cartoon ends with an "it was all a dream" ending in the second version. |
