Lauren Arnoldson is a member of the Arnoldson Family and the one who takes up the mantle of Dr. Disturbing after the death of her father, Nathaniel Arnoldson. She is shown to be an aspiring video editor, being the producer of the videos shown in the episodes CANYONCROWN, FALLENFATHER, as well as the introduction of ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE. She is seen to be somewhat inexperienced in the software.

Grand Canyon Trip

In May 2021, Nathaniel Arnoldson took Lauren and Quinn on a trip to the Grand Canyon. While there, Lauren took a number of photos. During the trip, she encountered and recorded a Canyon Crown, although she was unaware of what it was at the time, noting that the area smelled like vinegar. Lauren also recorded a squirrel whom she dubs "Mister Squirrel."

At some point after the trip, Lauren and Quinn did research and discovered that they had encountered a Canyon Crown, as well as the nature of the aforementioned creatures. She also learns that Nathaniel was looking for his sister, Maya Arnoldson in the Grand Canyon. She believed that the Canyon Crown they had encountered belonged to Maya.

The Death of Nathanial Arnoldson

At some point, Nathaniel Arnoldson died. It is presumed that he was killed during the Grand Canyon trip and turned into a Canyon Crown. Three days later, Lauren produced a home video mourning the death of her father. During the video, it's shown that a Canyon Crown followed Lauren and Quinn home. The Crown appears in Lauren's backyard and she's seen fleeing from it into her home. For some time after the death of her father, Lauren continued to mourn. At some point she produced and uploaded a 17-part series entitled Dad's Favorite Things, with the last part ending with her stating "Hope to see you soon, Dad." She published this under her father's username "Doctor Disturbing" and it is the final upload to the channel

Death

After encountering the Canyon Crowns that followed them home, Lauren and Quinn made the decision to ride them back to the Grand Canyon. They were seen by others in the area and described as riding 'astonishingly large balloons.' Ultimately Lauren and Quinn encountered a crosswind which caused them to fall off the Canyon Crowns to their deaths. Their bodies were later discovered three days after the upload of the last part of Dad's Favorite Things.
