Everett was a friend of Virginia Arnoldson during the Rockefeller Incident. He traveled with her through Wonderland while she was there to not feel alone |
Everett Arnoldson, born within the Horned Serpent Metastructure to Virginia Fate Arnoldson and Leonard W. Morlin, is a central figure in The Monument Mythos webseries. Throughout his life, a sense of brokenness has plagued him, as he was forced to endlessly traverse the expanse of Special Trees. |
Personality |
In spite of being trapped in an incomprehensible dimension throughout his entire existence, Everett managed to maintain a steadfast sense of identity, displaying unwavering resilience and determination. Even when faced with the impending danger posed by the Martian Serpent, he selflessly made the choice to enlighten the world with his tale before embarking on a courageous mission to vanquish the threat. Notably, he was able to successfully convince both the Statue of Freedom and the Air Force One Angel to accompany him on this noble quest, granting Cthonaut A a profoundly cherished act of genuine compassion |
Background |
At some point in history, Everett came into existence as Virginia Arnoldson and Leonard Morlin's only son. Virginia, desperate to find her way back to her own dimension, sought guidance from the Rockefeller Center Special Tree. The being advised Virginia to make a sacrifice of one life in exchange and directed her towards the Washington Monument. |
Upon entering the Monument, Virginia ascended to the top in an elevator before unexpectedly descending through a trapdoor. As she reached the ground, she astonishingly phased through the floor, traversing the depths of the Earth until she reached her original dimension. To her shock and horror, Virginia discovered that she was no longer carrying Everett in her womb, seemingly having bartered his life for her own. |
Encounter with C |
While delving into the complex and enigmatic realm of the Horned Serpent Metastructure, Cthonaut C, a Cthonaut, unexpectedly encounters a vulnerable and innocent infant Everett. Assuming the role of a benevolent and caring protector amidst the treacherous and imposing environment, Cthonaut C selflessly dedicates himself to fostering and tending to the child's every necessity during their intertwined expedition. Tragically, the child's path veers tragically off course due to the allure of a special tree, resulting in overwhelming sorrow and anguish for Cthonaut C. |
Arnoldson Alone |
During sometime after the events of the encounter with Cthonaut C, Everett start to stretch as in signs for him having and getting the American Wonderland Syndrom. His body was distorted and turn into this giant stick figure with what seemed to be three braches comign from his head. He drifted aimlessly with the other husk of people that were still trapped in Wonderland, until he heard Virgina's voice once more. She wasn't truly there, a transparent muffled memory frm another world speaking to him but Everett still followed her to whereever she went with her familiar singing tune. After years of following her by her side, she stopped by one of the special trees on one of the thousand days, and started pointing at it, the same tree that broguht her in and took Everett out just now. The tree tilited over and shocked Everett sending him into an endless wormhole, and lost his vision after being in there for so long. After that, he wakes up in The Babylon Forest, after regaining his vision once more. He looked above into the sky to see the sight of the Martian Serpent, free from its slumber. Everett did not want the people, things of this world to expierence hell like he did, so he tried to figure out a way to prevent the serpent from getting any closer to earth |
