The Debate Demon is a gigantic spider-like creature who has four limbs with a shape akin to a Nazi Swastika and a head like an ape's skull. In DEBATEDEMON, it seems to have human-like hands.

Creation

According to ALCATRAZ, ALWAYS, it is one of the two beings created by Alcatraz in its quest to become a God. The Debate Demon and its sibling, the Monument Monster, created a rivalry in American society by manipulating two dominant parties of United States, with the Debate Demon controlling the Republican Party and the Monument Monster controlling the Democratic Party, and each tried to cause Presidents from its own Party to succumb to insanity and start a nuclear apocalypse. In VIRGINIA'S WINTER WONDERLAND, it is heavily implied that Debate Demon is actually Virginia Arnoldson from MODERN DAY universe who, after her father's death by accident, ran away from home and got trapped in Wonderland. Unusually, she somehow escaped on her own, without aid from Everett. This caused her to mutate, becoming Debate Demon in the process.

2023 Republican Nominee Debates Incident

In August 2023, Debate Demon is seen hovering above the Republican Candidates, criticizing their campaign via pieces of paper.

Operation Seed

After president Robert Pattinson had gone insane and caused a nuclear apocalypse, Cthonaut A encountered both Debate Demon and Monument Monster outside the bunker. The Monster distracted him while the Demon opened earth beneath Cthonaut A, causing him to fell into a room with a TV/mirror. this TV/mirror talks to Cthonaut A and tells him that the Monument Monster and the Debate Demon are possibly extensions of Alcatraz. However, this is taken into question due to the information coming from a mirror as the entire series states that "mirrors lie twice" and therefore this information cannot be fully trusted.

After Cthonaut A got possessed by the Debate Demon and the Monument Monster, they get back on the boat and somehow create a black hole. Within this black hole it is shown that the Debate Demon and Monument Monster became Tree and Serpent.
