Cliftverse

After the battle with the Statue of Freedom and the Great Division, the Air Force One Angel comes across Cthonaut A. Desperate for redemption, the Angel pleads for another opportunity. However, Cthonaut A reminds the Angel that they already evaded death in Egypt, implying that they had their chance. Nevertheless, Cthonaut A proposes a risky solution – the Angel should divide themselves into mere particles and traverse the timestream. By doing so, they could reshape the past and avert the Great Division. Willing to take this gamble, the Angel follows through, manipulating the neurons in their past self's mind. Consequently, the past Angel, instead of engaging Freedom in combat, now begs for their own demise. In 1968, in an alternate timeline created by the Angel's ashes, James Dean, overcome by grief following the suicide of Eunice Dean, tragically crashes Air Force Two into a passenger plane carrying Howard Melrose. This shocking event transports them to a white space where they encounter Cthonaut A. In the face of this spectacle, Cthonaut A labels them as "two monuments," representing Tragedy and Comedy. He enlightens them about their pivotal roles in maintaining their universe's harmony while also causing strife. Determined to protect humanity, he indicates a reversal of the plane crash as he refuses to let them bring ruin. After the encounter with Dean and Melrose, the fourth wall is broken as a YouTube poll gets conducted to determine whether Vice President James Dean should be impeached for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to commit vigilantism. Despite receiving a 60% vote against impeachment, Dean mysteriously vanishes for two weeks following Cthonaut A's interference. After the National Parks Service demolishes the base of the Statue of Liberty, Cthonaut A emerges. He looms over the Earth, delivering a speech that chastises the viewers, breaking the fourth wall once again, for his previous intervention in rescuing Melrose from the Vice President of the United States. Expressing disappointment, Cthonaut A proposes a bargain: he will depart their universe if he witnesses a solitary act of kindness, though he deems it highly unlikely, bordering on miraculous.
